Job Opportunities — Maintenance Fitters & Mechanical Fitters (Longwarry)

Our client is seeking experienced Mechanical/Maintenance Fitters to join a well-established maintenance team within a high-speed food and beverage production environment. You will be working with industry-leading automated equipment and play a key role in ensuring site reliability and performance.


Shift Rotation (3 Weeks)


Week 1: Afternoon 2:00pm–10:00pm + on‑call 10:00pm–6:00am (incl. weekends)
Late night call‑outs are rare (approx. 5 per year)

Week 2: Mid 8:00am–4:00pm

Week 3: Day 6:00am–2:00pm

Afternoon shift includes on‑call rotation

$350 per week on‑call allowance,

Allowance paid every three weeks


Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot high‑speed automated machinery
• Faultfinding and breakdown support
• Conduct quality and safety checks
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
• Adhere to GMP, safety, and company procedures

About You

• Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter
• Experience in fast‑paced manufacturing or automation
• Strong fault‑finding skills
• Knowledge of GMP and safety compliance
• Team‑focused with strong communication skills
